Harleighblu - New Signing

Full Thought are extremely pleased to announce the addition of Harleighblu to our roster, an outstanding young soul singer. Expect to hear her vocals laced over modern soul productions put together by producer Joe Buhdha.  She has been involved in music from a very young age. Growing up surrounded by her Mum’s record collection – a treasure trove of the best soul and rare grooves – she kindled her interest in music by emulating each of the singers she heard. Harleighblu is preparing to unveil her debut album, produced by Joe Buhdha, due for release in Spring / Summer on Tru Thoughts Records.

Magdalena - OUT NOW

“Magdalena” is the second single from the ‘Look Around The Corner’ album by Quantic and Alice Russell with the Combo Bárbaro, which came out in April 2012 to widespread radio and press support, including BBC 6Music Album of the Day, and official 6Music playlisting for the first single and title track. The album was also named iTunes UK’s R&B album of 2012.


Buzzy producers Behling & Simpson bring a deep, stripped back disco house reworking of “Magdalena”, alongside cutting edge re-imaginings of the same track by Tru Thoughts stable-mates Hint and Anchorsong. Two highly anticipated Simbad mixes of the hit “Look Around The Corner” explore a gospel tip and an acid dub flavour. Also featured here are two exclusive alternate versions of “Magdalena” – the Extended Version and the Acoustic Version.

Ty - New Signing

Full Thought are extremely pleased to announce that British Hip Hop maestro Ty has joined our roster. Ty is set to begin the next stage in his remarkable career with the release of two digital EPs on Tru Thoughts; the first of which ‘A Kick Snare & An Idea’ will be out in April. Check the video for ‘Like You Never’ below, the first taste of that EP.

With a reputation built on his original style and refusal to hop on any industry bandwagon, Ty is best known for his lyrical frankness and honest portrayals of everyday life, setting him aside from many mainstream hip hop acts and allowing him complete artistic independence. This has led to the release of four successful albums and a Mercury Prize nomination, among many high profile plaudits.

Hyundai Advert For Belleruche

It seems like there's no stopping Belleruche when it comes to syncs, this fresh 2013 advert for Hyundai Life is now airing in South Korea - a developing territory for the sync and publishing industry. Hyundai Life is the new life insurance policy administered by the car manufacturer. The advert itself presents a slick image of the simplicity of the policy, a feel which Belleruche's 3 Amp Fuse enhances.

Belleruche's last major sync was on the Mercedes' 125 Year anniversary advert, which aired in various territories across the globe and ran for a number of months. For anyone who didn't catch the advert, or who might like to be reminded, check out the video Here.

Happy New Year from everyone at Full Thought Publishing, we're expecting lots of big things in 2013.

To kick off the year we will be releasing music from the inimitable soul siren Alice Russell, you can check out the video to her recent single Heartbreaker here. Her full length album will be dropping in February on Tru Thoughts Records. Following up, we will see releases from electronic producer Natural Self, whose new album, 'Neon Hurts My Eyes', takes a beat heavy, contemporary and immersive new sound. We're extremely excited to publishing Mark de Clive-Lowe's new album with the Rotterdam Jazz Orchestra - a roller-coaster ride through nu-jazz and electronic experimentation.

Further from our initial releases, we are expecting some exciting new material from the Hot 8 Brass Band, Nostalgia 77, Harleighblu, Rodney P, Lanu and Quantic.
