The Bamboos track 'Up On the Hill' features heavily in the new Australian documentary 'Dumb, Drunk and Racist'. The documentary looks at racism in Australia and the various perceptions that Australia has acquired; it aims to discuss and clear up a few of the prejudices associated with the Australian people. Lance Ferguson, of the Bamboos, has expressed his support for the sync, "Proud to have our tune 'Up On the Hill' feature on [dumb drunk racist] ...Let's open some minds".
